I like the pre-painted bits.

I like the pre-painted bits. Reminds me of the old Bandai Gundam kits that had the multiple colors molded into the runners.

Gespenst Mk-II M Kai

For some strange reason the Gespent reminds me of Mobile Suits from Gundam F-91. Besides Super Robot Wars has its own anime as well. As regards Kotobukiya models, they are really astonishing. However, as a perfectionist I prefer to spray paint them.

I have a few of these kits,

I have a few of these kits, and remember how loose and flimsy it was...I wanna get the newer ones, namely the Valsione and ART 1 but...has the overall quality and durability of these kits improved at all?

Molded fists

The idea is that the molded fists can have a more subtle, sculpted look, without seam lines or visible hinges. B-Club did a brisk business for a while selling "High Detail Manipulators" (read: resin-cast closed/open hands) for Gundam model kits, before everyone caught on and started doing it in the basic kit.

I built a Koto Hellhound from Patlabor, and one thing that I liked was that a lot of the seam lines in clamshell parts were placed in a recessed trench on the part itself so that the seam wasn't visible after construction. (which means no filling/sanding/repainting afterwards.) Do they do this on their robot kits as well?

I remember those B-Club

I remember those B-Club hands and I actually saw them when I went to Japan that summer. However at the same time I don't think I'm willing to drop $20 for a set of hands. I'm not that hardcore.

I can't say that I particularly noticed any recessed trenches for the sprues. I still needed to do the average sanding and what not.
