As I continue my Brave Series toy reviews, next up is, Power Dagwon!......

I am sure that anyone who loves cars and street racing has seen at least one of the movies from the wildly popular "The Fast and The Furious" franchise.

Great, detailed little set. It reminds me of one of those small commercial-grade excavators.

In 2005 The Batmobile alias the Tumbler hit the big screen in the Christopher Nolan directed film Batman Begins. The style of the new vehicle is more based on the Frank Miller tank like creation seen in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel......

Know what I say-? “Jazz Lives!” But I digress…

As with Blackout from the first movie, this is a huge character who was given the Voyager-class treatment instead of the Leader-class treatment he deserved. Yeah, he’s not on-screen for very long, but the mass of the character isn’t done justice here, and the articulation & detail that was needed couldn’t be accommodated.

This figure didn’t turn out as badly as I thought it would, despite the balancing issue.

For all the improvements that this toy makes over the original Leader-class toy from 2007, I am forced to concur with my peers all across the internet about how this figure may be more screen-accurate, but is unwieldy to the 5-yr olds it is marketed towards.

Even with all the modern gokin being released, this remains one of the best modern gokin in my collection. It just really captures the essence of the original toy without trying to replicate every stupid little gimmick of the show.

Love at first sight!

Time to review Ran...er, I mean ... Ley (or is it Ray?!). Who knows, what I do know that it is more awesome goodness from Beagle and Toynami with the 2nd release in their Mospeada line. HD Video included!
